Married for 7 years, including a suprise...........

It's becoming sort of a tradition for us to have a summer party. After first telling everybody we were not having a party we decided in August to have one after all. We picked 3 September which is (apart from Dawn's, Sam's & Rico's birthday) also our wedding day. A friend of ours, Marco, has a very good bakery/pastry shop (Landsaat in Zaandam) so we were thinking about asking him to bring a cake (we asked all our guests to bring a dish to make things easier for us). Inge came up with the idea to ask him to make a wedding cake. When we got married we had an Ice cake as desert, but not a real Wedding Cake. We asked him to make one for 20 people, 2 normal layers and a small top one.

But as you can see on the picture the wedding cake was a bit oversized. It would have been enough for 40 people. Luckily it was a great cake and not heavy on the stomach at all. So everybody had about 5000 calories and continued drinking.
