7 May was Mothersday in Holland this year. This year, we didn't want to spend this day with family, but just the 2 of us. So, I booked us a night at the Kurhaus. The Kurhaus is one of the most beautiful hotels in Holland, located right a the beach in Scheveningen. It's one of those places you see and would want to spend a night in, if only for once.

Inge did know I booked a hotel, but did not know which one. So, I took her for a drive all along the Dutch coast line from Bloemendaal to Scheveningen. She thought we would stay in Bloemendaal, but when we stoped in front of the Kurhaus and I told her this would be our hotel for the night she was speechless... This alone made it worthwhile! We had a beautiful room overlooking the sea.
