We woke up at 7:30 am and after a small breakfast Inge and I went to the fashion mall across the street and did some more shopping there. After the shopping and some coffee we took the Monorail to the MGM Grand and walked the last bit to New York New York where we did the Manhattan Express roller coaster. It was an OK roller coaster, but not really fast or high and the “heartline twist” wasn’t scary at all.

But these rides make you hungry, so we went to have a nice lunch at the Nine Fine Irishmen restaurant, which has some delicious food. But be aware, the portions are BIG! Have a look at Inge her sandwich and Arnold’s desert!

After a nap we headed to the Stratosphere, a 350 meter high landmark in Vegas. We had dinner in the Top of the World revolving restaurant at the top of the tower. It takes 80 minutes for a complete turn and the view is amazing. I had a superb Filet Mignon steak which was the best one I’ve had in years.

On top of the restaurant was the observation deck where we went after dinner. It was very cold and windy there as you can see on this video which also shows the X-Scream ride..
