In April 2002 we went with Rico & Marsha on a city trip to beautiful Barcelona. Personally I think it's the most beautiful city I've been to. We stayed in Hotel Nouvel, in the center of the city, just off the Ramblas (the main tourist street in Barcelona. We had 5 days to explore the city, eat lots of Tapas, drink a even more Cava and Sangria.

Close to the Ramblas is the old Gothic city with it's old cathedral. Also close are the many beautiful building designed by architects like Gaudi. We visited the Casa Mila. He is most famous as the architect of the Sagrada Familia, which is still under construction. You can also watch the video in high, medium or low quality.

Each day we ended the afternoon with a belated siesta in a park (this was a necessity after the heavy lunches which were always accompanied by Sangria or Cava. The most famous parc is of course Parc Guell, which was also designed by Gaudi.
